About the Role
The Restaurant Manager will be responsible for leading all aspects of daily operations and helping build the opening team from the ground up. This role will ensure excellence in service, consistency in brand standards, and the development of a motivated, professional team. The ideal candidate is a hands-on, hospitality-driven leader eager to grow into a General Manager position as the restaurant establishes itself in the Miami market.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all Front of House operations, ensuring seamless service execution and guest satisfaction.
- Hire, train, and develop FOH staff to uphold company culture and service standards.
- Lead by example on the floor, maintaining a consistent presence during peak hours.
- Partner with the Executive Chef and Bar Manager to ensure collaboration between FOH and BOH teams.
- Manage scheduling, payroll, and labor costs in alignment with financial goals.
- Handle guest recovery, service feedback, and relationship building with repeat clientele.
- Ensure compliance with all safety, sanitation, and operational procedures.
- Support ownership with local marketing, community partnerships, and event activations.
- Contribute to pre-opening processes, including staff training, SOP implementation, and systems setup.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of management experience in upscale or high-volume full-service restaurants.
- Strong understanding of Italian or Mediterranean cuisine preferred.
- Proven leadership in team training, service culture, and guest relations.
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with new openings and operational setup a strong plus.
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Growth mindset with interest in advancing to General Manager level.
